Project Description:
This book jacket design comes from a project that I did in Millersville University. Our task was to re-design our favorite book. I chosen Smile because not only was it a book that I grew up with, but it had the most potential of a good book jacket design. So, I re-designed the cover to include a tooth background with a blue color due to the story starting in a dentist office. I also added Raina in her high school outfit smiling as the wrap around cover because this is when Raina is starting high school and was also a foreshadowing of her self-acceptance towards the end.
